Dr. Eugenne (Genie) Elliott is a distinguished microbiologist and pathologist with
extensive expertise in infectious diseases and laboratory medicine. Holding
qualifications including MBChB, Diploma in Tropical Health, FCPath(Micro),
MMed(Micro), Foundation for Professional Development Diploma in Advanced
Management, Diploma in HIV Management, and an MBA, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to public health challenges. Currently serving as Senior Pathologist at the National Health Laboratory Services in Northern Cape, Kimberley, South Africa,
Dr. Elliott specializes in diagnostic pathology, HIV management, and tropical health. Her leadership in laboratory services supports accurate diagnostics in resource-limited settings, aligning perfectly with Amity Health Foundation mission to advance health equity, communicable disease advocacy, and system strengthening in Nigeria and beyond.
As a Board Member, Dr. Elliott provides strategic guidance on operational research, infectious disease programs, and partnerships across Africa.
